FAQ

1. What is the Carbonless bag, a carbon dioxide reduction bag?

A carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction bag is an innovative product designed to capture CO2 from the surrounding air, especially in enclosed spaces like cars, bedrooms, or offices. In such areas, CO2 levels can accumulate over time due to exhalation, especially when there are multiple people and limited ventilation. If CO2 exceeds 800 ppm, it can negatively impact health without being noticeable. The CO2 absorption bag gradually absorbs CO2, converting it into a stable form within the bag, helping to bring CO2 levels back to a normal range (400-800 ppm).

Option 1: Carbonless Car. A CO2 absorption bag with an extra refill bag included, designed to absorb accumulated carbon dioxide in vehicles.

Hang the CO2 absorption bag in your vehicle, such as on the turn signal lever or the car console.

Option 2: Carbonless Room. Combines innovative CO2 absorption bags with an exhaust fan to enhance CO2 absorption efficiency for faster results.

2. How does the accumulation of CO₂ in the air affect health?

Figure 1: Health impacts at various levels of CO2 concentration (measured using CO2 detectors).

The excessive accumulation of CO2 in the air can cause dizziness, fatigue, and reduced concentration. It can also negatively impact brain function and respiratory health.

Figure 2: Waking up unrefreshed, partly due to CO2 build-up in the bedroom.

3. How is a CO₂ reduction bag different from air purifiers and air conditioners?
Air purifiers and air conditioners cannot directly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the air. While air purifiers can filter dust, allergens, and airborne pollutants, typical filters cannot capture CO2 because it is a non-combustible gas with particles too small for easy filtration. Air conditioners primarily focus on cooling and humidity control and thus cannot remove or reduce CO2 levels. Reducing CO2 requires specific methods, such as ventilation or using CO2 absorbent materials like Carbonless CO2 absorption bags.
4. What are the benefits of using a CO₂ reduction bag?

Helps reduce CO2 levels in enclosed spaces such as cars, bedrooms, classrooms and offices, making the air cleaner. This results in users feeling more refreshed, reducing fatigue, and improving work performance.

5. Where can a CO₂ reduction bag be used?

Suitable for use in various spaces such as cars, bedrooms, classrooms, offices, or areas with high CO2 accumulation. It helps improve air quality, promoting a refreshed mind and body for better overall health.
6. How often should the CO₂ absorption bag be replaced, and how can you tell when it's time?
After removing the Carbonless bag from the zip-lock packaging, it is recommended to replace the bag every 1 month to maintain optimal CO2 absorption efficiency. You can perform a simple check to see if the bag has fully absorbed CO2 by squeezing it. If the bag feels stiffer than usual, it is time to replace it with a new one.
7. How should the Carbonless bag be stored, and how long is its shelf life?
When not in use, store the Carbonless bag in a tightly sealed plastic zip-lock bag, keeping it away from water and fire. Place it in a well-ventilated area. The shelf life of the Carbonless bag is up to 1 year.
